First XVIII Game

Tomorrow Jarred Bethell will make his senior debut at Rennie. Having been used a number of times as the sub already this season, he now takes another step forward in his playing career by making his debut in the 21. Whilst Jarred is not big in size or stature, his clean ball handling, hard running, good decision making and precise kicking has seen him dominate at Thirds level in the first half of the season and led to him truly earning his spot in the side. It will indeed be a proud day for the Swans newest member of the prestigious Life Member Club, Dad, Chris Bethell, his wife Karlene, and their entire extended family to see Jarred run out and make his senior debut in the “Red V”. If Jarred’s development continues at the rapid rate it has over the past few seasons we are sure we’ll see him build a long and successful career with the Swans. Congratulations JB!
