First XVIII Debut

Saturday after some late withdrawals we welcomed another two lads debut into the senior side in Aron Walkington and Will Watson against Katandra.

The name “Walkington” rings strong within the club, with his grandfather Les Walkington being a life member and a stalwart of the club. Aron is another junior product working his way through the ranks and has grown significantly in confidence and ability in the past 6 months. As one of the Thirds captains, Aron is doing a terrific job of leading the young swans. A crafty forward with a great footy mind, Aron knows where to position under packs and knows how to find the big sticks. Aron has worked hard over the summer, now regularly playing in the midfield, working tirelessly around stoppages and doing the hard work in and under. Well done Aron on your first senior game, one of many to come!
