50 Club Games

It’s another special trifecta of milestones this weekend in our ANZAC Round, as we celebrate Peter “Sauce” Nolan lining up for his 250th club game, Michael Van den Goor reaching 100 club games, and Billie Merritt bringing up 50 club games on Sunday.

Since joining the club in 2023, Billie’s potential was clear from the outset. Her willingness to listen, ask questions, and put feedback into action has set her apart, and it’s been a pleasure to watch her grow. Season by season, her development has been outstanding; both in skill and confidence, and it’s no surprise to see her now stepping up and making her mark in A grade. Billie has also embraced a leadership role off the court, taking on the responsibility of team manager for the 17/Under’s. Congratulations Bill, on reaching 50 games, and we look forward to many more in the red and white!
