This weekend we celebrate a fantastic milestone as Eloise Kelly takes the court for her 150th Club Game for the Katunga Football Netball Club.
Elo's journey began in our junior ranks, where she developed her game by swinging between defence and attack. As she progressed into the senior grades, her versatility continued to shine, even spending time wearing the WA bib. However, it's in the attacking goal ring where she found her true home. Her height and reach make her a great target for her team mates. Elo's contribution to our club extends far beyond game day. She has become one of our most dependable umpires, and more recently, she has taken on the role of mentoring our emerging junior umpires, helping build confidence and skills within our young officials. Elo is also heavily involved behind the scenes, co-coaching our Under 13s, organising social functions, and taking on the challenging task of coordinating home game rosters, a job that never goes unnoticed and is vital to the smooth running of our club. Whether she's scoring goals, blowing the whistle, coaching juniors, or helping keep the club organised, Elo consistently gives her time and energy to the club. Congratulations, Elo, on reaching 150 Club Games. Thank you for your dedication, commitment, and the many contributions you make both on and off the court. We look forward to seeing what comes next in the red, and white.
