A big congratulations to Abbie Smith who was awarded her C grade netball umpiring badge on Saturday

Abbie began her umpiring journey as a junior player and has always been willing to step up—whether it’s umpiring at training, listening, learning, or simply giving it her all. She’s grown into a confident and capable umpire, and we couldn’t be prouder.

As we all know there is no game without umpires and we love seeing our members stepping up and shining. We are so lucky at Katunga to have some fabulous mentors and testers and we thank each and every one of them for helping Abbie along the way. Congratulations again Abz and thank you for your commitment to umpiring!!
