A Grade Debut

A huge congratulations to Leah McGrath, who will make her A Grade debut this weekend!

After an outstanding pre-season and a string of impressive performances throughout the year, Leah has earned her opportunity to step onto the A Grade court and test herself at the higher level.

Beginning the season across B and C Grade, Leah has continued to elevate her game week after week. While naturally at home in the centre position, she has been a standout in WD, using her exceptional speed, relentless work rate and ability to impact every contest. She has also embraced the challenge of WA, a position she was initially unsure about, and has quickly proven she belongs there too.

One of Leah’s greatest strengths is her willingness to learn. She consistently takes on feedback, applies it to her game and is always looking for ways to improve. Through her dedication and determination, she has discovered just how valuable her speed and agility are across all three midcourt positions.

This debut is a reward for the hard work, commitment and perseverance Leah has shown throughout the season. It is also a reflection of the belief she has developed in her own abilities and the confidence she now brings to the court every week.
