50 Club Games

This weekend we celebrate another three milestones, with Abbie Smith taking the court for her 50^th senior game, whilst Chelsea Winn and Xavier Down line up for their club game.

Originally from Jerilderie we are lucky to have Chels join us and still making the trip across the border to be part of our club. Chels has been a valued member of our netball family since day one. As a junior, she was the type of player who made life very difficult for opposition teams, so we're certainly glad she chose to bring her talents our way. Chelsea's time at the club has already been filled with memorable achievements. A highlight was being part of our C Grade Premiership side in 2024. Her talent and potential have also been recognised with a Rising Star nomination. This year, Chels continued to give back to the game by taking on the coaching role for our Under 15s representative side. Her willingness to share her knowledge and support the next generation is a testament to the person she is both on and off the court. Chels is also a talented umpire and has been a member of the North East Umpiring Talent Academy. As A Grade Vice Captain, Chelsea has stepped confidently into a leadership role, leading with determination, energy and positivity. Through the midcourt, she is an absolute whippet, using her speed, work rate and relentless drive to leave opponents chasing in her wake. Congratulations Chels!
