250 Club Games

It’s another special trifecta of milestones this weekend in our ANZAC Round, as we celebrate Peter “Sauce” Nolan lining up for his 250th club game, Michael Van den Goor reaching 100 club games, and Billie Merritt bringing up 50 club games on Sunday.

Pete or Sauce as he is affectionately known is a stalwart of our club featuring in the Ressies for a long period. Coming through the Swans Juniors and into senior ranks he has made himself a key player in the backline. He's a passionate player often relied on as the General to direct traffic, coaching the kids where to be, checking match ups and holding down key players. A proud member of the Swan family, he's fronted up through thick and thin to pull on the Red V. He jumps in to help around the club, and always willing to offer support or an opinion on what we can do to improve. Congratulations Sauce and here’s to more to come!!
