100 Club Games
It’s raining milestones this weekend as we celebrate a whopping seven players. Stepping up to help out as only he knows how is Chris ‘Skeeta’ Bethell playing his 150th Open Age club game, Ryan Russo and Ivy Henderson their 100th club game, whilst Beau Milne, Indi Brennan, Ruby Frederickson and Ruby Scouller celebrate 50 club games.
You'll often hear Ivy before you see her, and that voice has been very valuable to our young Under 17s side this season. Taking on the captaincy role, Ivy has led from the front, setting the standard with her determination, tenacity and unwavering commitment to her teammates. A natural leader, Ivy's encouragement and direction on court help keep the team focused and connected, while her competitive spirit has a way of lifting those around her when it's needed most. Whether the team is riding a wave of momentum or facing a challenge, Ivy is always ready to drive the group forward. This season has also seen Ivy embrace a new challenge, making the transition from WA to GA. She has attacked the move with confidence and enthusiasm, continuing to develop her game while becoming a key contributor in the attacking end. Ivy has also relished the opportunity to take on umpiring along with playing up in C Reserve, C Grade & B Grade, gaining valuable experience and proving she can compete at higher levels. Congratulations Ivy on reaching the incredible milestone of 100 Club Games in your junior career, and we look forward to celebrating many more.
